What does it mean to be an interconnected leader?

Sally’s coaching and leadership style guides us from transactional relationships to interconnected relationships.
To be interconnected we begin with the foundation of Holding Self First.

Why do breath & body practices as a professional?

Expand your window of tolerance to feel steady & balanced

Regular breath and body practices help you build resilience, allowing you to remain calm and steady even during stressful moments. This expanded window of tolerance enables you to navigate challenges with a clear and balanced mind.

Reduce the intensity of negative emotions

Engaging in these practices softens the impact of negative emotions, helping you respond rather than react. Over time, this leads to a more measured and composed way of dealing with life’s ups and downs.

Release stress hormones from your body

Intentional breathwork and movement help release built-up stress hormones, easing both physical tension and mental strain. This process clears the way for relaxation and a renewed sense of well-being.

Better immune function & balanced blood pressure

Regular practice supports your body’s natural defenses, contributing to a balanced blood pressure and improved immune function. A well-regulated body is better equipped to handle daily demands and stress.

Stronger respiratory function
& deeper sleep

Enhanced breath control improves respiratory function, ensuring efficient oxygen flow throughout your body. This leads to deeper, more restorative sleep, boosting your overall energy and vitality.

Better mental focus
& capacity for JOY

Clearing mental clutter through these practices sharpens your focus and enhances cognitive clarity. With a calm and centered mind, you create space for genuine joy and fulfillment in both your personal and professional life.

Tips for starting a daily practice:

Practice in the AM,
before eating & coffee

Starting your day with your practice, before the rush of food and caffeine, sets a mindful tone for the hours ahead. The early morning quiet gives you space to center yourself and connect with your inner wisdom. This simple shift can help you approach the day with clarity and intention.

Expect mental resistance,
do it anyway

It’s natural to face inner resistance when starting something new, especially early in the day. Rather than giving in to doubt or distraction, acknowledge it and commit to your practice regardless. Each time you push through, you build resilience and strengthen your resolve.

Find types that work for you - experiment!

Not every practice resonates with everyone, so try different approaches until you discover what feels right. Experiment with various techniques—whether it’s mindfulness, breathwork, or journaling—to find the method that best supports your growth. Your unique practice is a journey of self-discovery, tailored to fit your life.

Try for 7 days straight

Challenge yourself to a consistent practice for a full week, and consider partnering with someone for extra support. This short-term commitment lets you experience the cumulative benefits of a daily routine. At the end of the week, reflect on the shifts you notice compared to the days you skip your practice.
